Trail Rides

Have you ever wished you could jump in the saddle and go for a long leisurely stroll in the mountains? Then it's time to schedule your trail ride with us. Our staff is comprised of expert horsemen and wranglers with years of experience. You will receive training before you ever put a foot in the stirrup.

Soon, you'll be making your way through the cool mountain pine trees, with your horse taking you to places in Sacramento that you've never seen before. All in the company of our staff and your soon-to-be favorite horse. Who ever said wishes don't come true?

Half Day Rides

Are you wanting a real adventure? A Half Day Ride is just the thing for you! This ride starts off similar to our regular trail rides, but soon we head off on a more challenging trail in the Lincoln National Forest. We spend about 3 hours on the trail, climbing higher onto the mountains and exploring the canyons surrounding camp. This is a great option for more experienced riders and those wanting a bit more of a challenge.

Riding Lessons

Horse Camps

Winston Churchill said, "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man." We couldn't agree more! Some of the highlights of our summer camp season happen at horse camp. Campers will bond with their horse, as they learn to feed, groom, and saddle them for their rides. Campers also learn many other aspects of owning, training, and caring for horses. Ministry takes place during all aspects of horse camp, and worship and devotionals are an integral part of the experience. And of course there is always time for some good ole' campfires and roasted marshmallows.
